Woke up around 6.15 today n took a bus with Cheryl 2 school. B.a.n.d! Had some exchange programme at Yu Hua Sec somewhere at Jurong. It was damn far n we had to squeeze in some darn small bus with the seniors etc. Luckily we, juniors didn't need to bring our instruments (I would have dieded)Went to some small room with a TKGS paper sticked at the door. The classroom at Yu Hua is some crap classroom which looked like it was built during the olden days(I'm so mean). They actually painted the tables with some silver paint. You could see some paint peeling at the sides. We, juniors were chased out because there was so little space in the classroom. Couldn't understand how mad were the organizers to allot us this small teeny weeny space for our whole band. Well, not the whole band, Sec 3s n 4s including Cheryl, Jiayun, Deborah, and Daphne. Waited outside while we saw so many schools arriving. On the right hand side of classroom was RGS and on the left hand side was St. Nicholas. Sheesh... Squeeze to a small hall for some performance by the schs. n I actually found out that our band was super big. Heard from ppl det our our Junior band (sec2s) is equal to half of the whole Yu Hua Syf performing band(sec 2s,3s,4s). And our school was so like xtra? Like having brought the most ppl along... haha. It was so super funny. There was RGS, St Nicholas, RI, River Valley, AHS, Ngee Ann, Yu Hua, Nanyang and Tkgs. Heard St Nics first. Ms Sia conducting. There were about 9 bands I think. TKG was the 6th band 2 perform. Not bad... There was some squeeking here and there and we were so mean n counted the no. of squeeks each band had. Tkg didn't squeek during the S'pore Rhaps. But I think have during PJ. After Tkgssb performed Ms Sia was saying that they were rushing coz she said fr 8min plus become 7min20sec. : ( Came back n it was kinda funny. Sat wif dear Deborah cause I helped 2 carry the water bottle bad which was super heavy. They were passing some bread, cheese, raisin blah blah and Bobo had a mad rush. So farni, and she kept standing coz it was 3 to a seat. Rushed for dance at church. Lucky I was early and Daddy bought me Macs. Woo-hoo! |
